Parking in the Village is governed by the provisions established in Section 2.06 of the Municipal Code. Violators are subject to fines ranging from $10 to $50 plus costs. Uncontested parking tickets are $10 if paid within 7 days of issue, $15 if paid between 8 and 29 days of issue, and $40 if paid 30 days or more after date of issue. In cases where an illegally parked vehicle poses an immediate hazard to public safety, the vehicle may be towed. Some of the special parking regulations are listed below.

Night Parking Restrictions: Village ordinance 2.05(5)(a) prohibits parking on all Village streets for more than 30 minutes between the hours of 2:30 am and 6:00 am.  Any vehicle may be parked during such hours provided it is completely off the paved roadway for a minimum distance of 3 feet, is parked within the publically dedicated right-of-way, and is allowed to remain in such location at the sole risk of the owner or operator of the vehicle. The village assumes no responsibility for any damages arising from such parking.
